COVID SYMPTOMS

Please remember to go through your self-health checks before attending church.

Do not attend if you have the following symptoms: fever, cough, tiredness, loss of taste or smell, sore throat or a headache.

Coughing and sniffling during Mass does make other parishioners feel very uncomfortable as we continue to navigate the pandemic and its high transmission rates.

OUR HISTORY

Trinity Catholic, together with our sister church

Trinity United, was housed under the umbrella of the

Nanaimo Ecumenical Centre (NEC) at 6234 Spartan St.

in a shared ecumenical experience for 42 years,

from 1979 to 2021,

after which Trinity United moved to a new location,

and Trinity Catholic was renamed Holy Trinity Catholic.

Holy Trinity Catholic will miss their Ecumenical sister and wish her

all of Gods' blessings in her new home and future spiritual journeys.

PARISH LIFE

WE HOPE YOU BECOME PART OF OUR CHURCH FAMILY

We hope you stay for coffee after the Sunday 9:30 am Mass

and tell someone that you are visiting or new.

We will be happy to meet you and make you feel at home.

On the last Sunday of each month,

(except July, August and December)

the Knights of Columbus serve us

a wonderful pancake breakfast with all the trimmings.

Suggested donation is $7.50 and all are welcome.

Watch our weekly bulletin, or our "What's Happening Now" page,

for the dates and for other social events

held for the parish throughout the year.

Worship

Join us in your faith journey at one of our many weekday or weekend times of worship in our main Sanctuary. At Holy Trinity you will find  Mass,  Rosary Prayers, and Confession offered.   In addition, throughout the year,  there are many special times of worship that will be posted in our weekly bulletin on our "What's Happening Now" page.

Children of all ages are encouraged to attend our weekend Masses and for the very young and their parents, if needed, there is a special room available which looks into the main sanctuary so that you can all still participate in the Mass. The room is immediately to your left as you enter the church front doors.

Faith Formation

For those seeking to deepen their knowledge and love of our faith,  you will find educational programs offered for children, youth and adults, and for those wishing to become Catholics.

For more details check our Childrens Religious Education, Youth, Adult Bible Study and RCIA pages.

Parish Services

A quick call or visit to the Parish office will start the process to:

  • request a Prayer, Mass Intention or Papal Blessing;
  • receive communion, a pastoral visit,  or anointing of the sick in the hospital or at home; or
  • plan a baptism, marriage or funeral.

Volunteering

For those who would like to share your gifts there  is most certainly a special place in the church where we would gratefully use your talents.

Please check our Ministry  and Associated Groups pages, or call one of our parish leaders posted on our Leadership page to find your perfect fit.
