CWL COMING EVENTS

CWL 100TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE 

TREE PLANTING CEREMONY

On October 27th, members of Trinity Catholic Council (Nanaimo, BC) along with our Parish Priest, Father Jozef Kobos, planted a golden Rhododendron in the Memorial Garden of the Church commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Catholic Women’s League in Canada. A blessings ceremony followed with 15 members participating showing their appreciation for the gift of our new Council.

FEBRUARY 2020 MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

The Trinity CWL, after a very successful membership drive last weekend, would like to acknowledge a big thank you to all the parish ladies who either signed their new membership form or visited our table showing interest and are seriously considering joining our CWL.

We also want to thank Grand Knight, Gary Shepp and the many Knights from 9990 for their support, help and generosity in allowing us to set up our information booth during their Pancake Breakfast. We particularly want to thank Mike Finch and his crew, Doug Fox and Jim Loftus for their assistance with our set up.

Another big thank you goes out to all those dedicated CWL sisters who so ably represented our League and were able to attract many Trinity Catholic ladies to our CWL. We look forward to these new members bringing their many talents and interests to our council.

We expect a very exciting 2020 with many good works

on behalf or our dear Lord.
