Trinity is blessed with eight active volunteer based liturgical ministries that support and enhance our times of worship. To find out more about each ministry please see the short descriptions below. They each work as a team and new volunteers are always welcome and any necessary training provided. If you would like to get involved with one of these, or to just find out more, please contact the ministry leader identified below.
Both children and adults are welcome to assist Fr. Jozef as Altar Servers during any of our three weekend Masses. All necessary vestments, as well as training, are provided. What a wonderful way to develop a deeper appreciation for the Catholic Liturgy!
Altar Serving is an integral part of the Roman Catholic Mass and it is indeed an honor and privilege to serve Jesus by assisting our Priest during the most important and highest prayer, the Eucharist. Jesus gave bread and wine to his Disciples during the Passover Meal, also known as the Last Supper, instructing them to "Do This In Memory Of Me".
Assisting our Priest is without a doubt a fantastic way to learn the deep spiritual meaning of the Mass, and to understand the "majic", and the rituals, of remembering His death on the Cross.
Our Mission Statement at Trinity Catholic is to ensure that each and every one who desires the experience of Altar Serving be given that privilege, regardless of gender, and without the expectation of following a strict schedule. But in the interest of being better organized, the Mass we serve at, or the team we serve with, is always the same. Our goal is to have our Altar Servers volunteer their time.
Each novice Altar Server will be trained at a pace that is comfortable for them. We use the mentor system so that younger children will be with an experienced Server for their assurance. At no time prior to, during or after the Mass will Altar Servers be without an Adult Altar Server. This ensures that each is comfortable in what they are assigned to do, and that the duties are being performed with dignity and respect.

These ministers truly serve at the heart of our liturgy. At Trinity Catholic, they fall into two groups. "Eucharistic Ministers", under the leadership of Doris Landry, who serve the Eucharist or the wine, within the Celebration of the Mass along side our Ordinary Eucharistic Minister, Fr. Jozef Kobos. And "Communion Ministers", under the leadership of Huguette Fox, who in pairs, bring Holy Communion to parishioners in their homes, residences or nursing homes, on a weekly or monthly basis, for Fr. Jozef Kobos. Once trained in the proper processes to serve and maintain the sanctity of the host, these ministers recieve the rite of comissioning, and are provided a schedule that fits their availability. A vital and rewarding ministry that is deeply appreciated by those receiving the Eucharist. To volunteer or for further infomation please contact the office at 250 390-2612.
The Flower Ministry have an important role enhancing the sanctuary and chapel for worship in accordance with each celebration or solemnity. You will usually find these happy ladies in the foyer every Friday morning, refreshing the plants and flowers for the whole parish to enjoy during the weekend Masses. A special time is when Fr. Jozef's dahlia's fine their way to the church from his garden. If you would like to get involved, to share or to grow a green thumb, you can call the office at 250 390-2612.

Trinity Catholic Choir has been together since the church opened in 1979. Some of those original members continue to share their musical talent with the choir every Sunday at 9am Mass. Over
the years we have had a variety of musical accompanists such as guitar, organ piano and flute. Our music has also changed over the years depending on the director. We continue to mix old
favourites with modern music and anthems keeping in mind that the words of the music are what tie the messages of the Sunday readings together.
The choir provides the music for 9:00am Sunday Mass as well as Christmas and Holy Week. We also provide music for funerals and do three joint services with Trinity United
each year as well as our annual Christmas Benefit Concert.
We are a 4 part choir and are always happy to welcome new members. We are currently looking for tenors who can sing the tenor part. We
practice from 7-9pm every Wednesday throughout the school year.
