CHILDREN’S SUNDAY LITURGY

We are looking for one more volunteer to assist with the Sunday 9:30am Children’s Liturgy, beginning the first Sunday of November—We have now found three others to assist so are now looking for one more person, so that volunteers would only be needed once a month. Please contact the office if you are interested.

COORDINATOR FOR ALTAR SERVERS

The generous volunteer who coordinated this service, Lynne Smith, has retired from the position. A responsible adult volunteer is sought to take over this program that has involved boys and girls in The Lord’s service on the altar at Mass. Lynne is available for transition training. Please contact Sarah in the office if you are interested in this service opportunity. The reward is in heaven! 

FLOWER MINISTRY

We are in urgent need of a volunteer to arrange the flowers in the Sanctuary, if you are interested please contact the office at 250.390.2612.  

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL

On September 26th, we unveiled the sign to introduce our new name: Holy Trinity Catholic Church. This symbolic ceremony is the result of many months of negotiations with the members of Trinity United and the purchase of what was formerly known as the Nanaimo Ecumenical Centre.

In January 2022, we will start our stewardship campaign and we are now in the process of gathering information, planning strategies and assembling committees. We will be calling for more volunteers in the near future, but for now we are looking for someone with a current accounting designation to help us design the financial details. If you are that person, please contact the office at 250-390-2612.

9AM MUSIC MINISTRY

We are looking for new members in the Choir, especially men’s voices, if you would like to join our ministry and are available to practice with us on Thursday mornings at 10:30am, please see the Choir Director, or call the office for more information.

PROJECTIONIST SEARCH

Youth, senior or in between, experienced or not, there is a place for you as a volunteer projectionist at either the Saturday 6pm or Sunday 9:30am Mass.

Orientation is provided and you can expect to be on a rotation of about once a month.

SUNDAY MORNING COFFEE  
 The Sunday Morning Coffee Committee is looking for a few more volunteers to help serve coffee after the 9am Mass. It requires about half an hour before Mass and half an hour after for serving and clean up, once every  6-8 weeks. All supplies are provided.
