Holy Trinity Catholic welcomes Amber Adams to our Church office, starting Tuesday December 6th. Previously employed by Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation, as their Director of Marketing and Communications and Director of Donor Relations, Amber was responsible for all marketing and communications, advertising and fundraising. Some of you will know Amber from St. Peter’s where she was the Office Manager and deepened her knowledge of Diocesan policies and procedures. Amber brings a wealth of knowledge to our parish and will be a valuable member of our team, please stop by to welcome Amber into our church family. Sarah will be moving out of the main office into the finance room next door, where her role will revolve around accounting and volunteer coordination. Both Amber and Sarah will be in the building during our office hours of Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 1:45pm.
Please note that to be included in your 2022 tax receipt, which will be issued in February, your donations to Holy Trinity and/or SSVDP should be received at the church by Sunday December 25th, 2022. Donations received after the 25th will be gratefully accepted and applied to your 2023 tax receipt. Please ensure that we have your correct mailing address to send your tax receipts to in the New Year, SSVDP will be sending out their own tax receipt's so your contact information should also be updated with them.
“To Holy Trinity Parish and Parishioners:
We wish to thank Sarah, Fr. Josef and all the Parishioners of Holy Trinity who helped us plan and host a very successful Barra MacNeils East Coast Christmas Concert.
The extra special efforts of Norbert and the Knights of Columbus, Brad, the custodian, Betty McCormick and Anne Marie Powell, Derek and Lisa Rickwood, Karen and the choir and numerous parishioners who came forward to support and contribute to the event were deeply appreciated by us, and all in attendance. We continue to get thanks and praise for a beautiful, inspiring evening of hope and faith.
We are happy to announce that as a result of everyone’s efforts and their generosity, a total of over $4,000. will be added to the Hurricane Fiona Red Cross Appeal to benefit our fellow Canadians in the Atlantic provinces who were impacted by the recent catastrophe.
Carolyn and Rene Cusson, Organizers”
